| | | Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Indonesia | | | The Research Centre for Physics of Indonesian Institute of Sciences(LIPI) collaborated with the State Ministry of Research, Science and technology of Indonesia(KNRT) and formed the Indonesian Nano-Technology Profession Society, or Masyarakat Nano Indonesia abbreviated as MNI, led by Dr Nurul Taufiqu Rochman from Research Centre for Physics/P2F-LIPI in 2005.
The MNI will play a leading role also for constructing the Nano-Science and Technology Consortium of Indonesia that would integrate and coordinate interests from academics, industries and government:
- To provide a forum and networking for communication and idea exchange in the field of nanotechnology (mailing list)
- To identify and make data base for current research of nanotechnology in Indonesia
- To provide information center for nanotechnology : www.nano.lipi.go.id or nano_indonesia.org
- To provide newsletter and Indonesian Nanoletters
